Diamond Jewellery in Grand Cayman

GIA-certified diamonds set in pendants, studs and tennis bracelets, sold duty-free on the George Town waterfront.

Certified Stones

Diamonds With Papers

Diamond jewellery is where certification matters most, because two stones that look similar in a case can differ badly in what they are worth. The diamonds we set in pendants, studs and bracelets are GIA certified, and we hand you the report with the piece. You see the cut, colour, clarity and carat weight in writing, not just in a salesperson's adjectives.

The classics earn their place. A diamond pendant sits on the neckline every day, studs go with everything from a swimsuit to a suit, and a tennis bracelet is the piece people notice across a room. We stock these in 14-carat and 18-carat white and yellow gold and in platinum, in sizes from a first diamond to a serious anniversary stone.

Buying in Grand Cayman means buying duty-free, and on diamonds the saving scales with the stone. Visitors comparing certified stones against home prices routinely find the difference pays for a good part of the trip. Our showroom is a short walk from the cruise pier, and our bench can adjust chain lengths or check settings before you leave.

Questions

Good to Know

Are your diamonds GIA certified?
Yes, our diamonds carry GIA certification and you receive the report with your purchase. The certificate records cut, colour, clarity and carat weight, which protects the value of the piece for insurance and resale. We will walk you through reading it before you buy.
How much do I save buying diamond jewellery tax-free?
The Cayman Islands add no duty or sales tax, so you avoid the taxes built into home prices, which on diamond pieces can be a meaningful percentage. The bigger the stone, the bigger the difference. Bring a quote from home and we will compare like for like.
Can you size a tennis bracelet or shorten a chain before my ship leaves?
Usually yes. The workshop is in the building, and bracelet sizing and chain adjustments are quick jobs. Come in early in your day ashore and we will confirm timing on the spot.
What should I look for in diamond studs?
Matching matters more than size. The two stones should be matched for colour, cut and brightness, otherwise the pair looks off even if each stone is good. Ask to see the studs under the light and on your ear, not just in the tray.
How do I look after diamond jewellery?
Diamonds are hard but their settings are not, so have the prongs checked once a year. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft brush, and keep pieces apart in a travel case so diamonds do not scratch other jewellery. We check and clean pieces bought from us whenever you are back on island.

Judge the Stone in Person

A certificate tells you what a diamond is, the light tells you what it does. Come to the George Town showroom and look at the stones side by side.
