An eternity ring carries stones all the way around the band; a half eternity carries them across the top only. The difference is not just price. A full eternity cannot be resized, because there is no plain metal to cut, so it has to be made to the right size from the start.

That makes half eternity the practical choice for most people: it can be resized later, it sits more comfortably against an engagement ring, and the stones that would sit under the finger are not being worn down by the palm.

We make eternity bands in 14-carat and 18-carat gold and platinum, set with diamonds or with coloured stones for an anniversary or a birthstone. Because they are usually worn stacked, we match the profile to the ring it will sit beside.
