Citrine Jewelry in Grand Cayman

Warm golden yellow in 14-carat and 18-carat gold.

Warm Golden Citrine

Warm golden citrine is one of the soft, romantic colours we set most, alongside blush morganite and royal purple amethyst. It is quartz, the same family as amethyst, which makes it both hard-wearing enough for regular use and affordable in generous sizes.

That combination is why citrine ends up in cocktail rings. You can have a large, deeply coloured centre stone without a large bill, and at quartz hardness it survives normal wear. It is also November's birthstone, which brings a steady stream of birthday commissions through the workshop.

Questions

Good to Know

Is citrine hard enough for everyday wear?
Yes. Citrine is a quartz, the same mineral family as amethyst, and hard enough for regular wear in a ring. Like any coloured stone it should come off for heavy or abrasive work.
Is citrine a birthstone?
Yes, citrine is the birthstone for November, and it is one of the more common birthstone commissions we take, usually as a pendant or a ring.
